Jeremy Moeller Biography

Jeremy Moeller
Jeremy Moeller

Assistant Principal/Second Trombone in the Grant Park Orchestra since 2004,
Jeremy Moeller also performs with the Burning River Brass of Cleveland, Ohio. For the past year he has resided in Chicago and has performed with The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Elgin Symphony, and other regional orchestras and performing groups.

From 2003 to 2005, Jeremy was a member of the Avatar Brass Quintet, ensemble in residence at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Prior to that time, he was Second Trombone with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra for two seasons, and Principal Trombone with the Sarasota Opera Orchestra in 2001. He has performed with the Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, Grand Rapids, and Alabama Symphonies, and was a member of the 1999 National Repertory Orchestra.

He has a B.M. and Performers Certificate from the Eastman School of Music and a M.M. from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. His primary teachers include John Marcellus, David Waters, Dave Kirk, and Blair Bollinger.
