Where did you study?

Bowling Green State University and The Juilliard School

Career highlight?

Performing in 2003 at Carnegie Hall with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. Performing there is an aspiration for most musicians I think and it was nice to share that moment with my colleagues as well as performing for family and friends.

What’s on your playlist at the moment?

Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Toby Keith, John Pizzarelli, and whatever we’re playing with the orchestra in the next few weeks.

Who would you love to work with in a future musical collaboration (conductors, guest artists) who you have not previously worked with?

Gerard Schwartz with pianist Jon Nakamatsu.

If you could sit down and chat with any musical figure (dead or alive) who would it be?

Shostakovich
