Can you share any memorable stories about your experience with the Grant Park Music Festival?

During my first year with GPMF, I was Assistant Principal and before a rehearsal I decided to switch the strings of the Principal Violist’s instrument. The whole orchestra knew about my prank, except him, and was laughing while he tried (unsuccessfully) to get it tuned. He eventually stormed off stage! No one could believe I pulled that prank, because I did not have tenure yet!
