Festival Connect is a comprehensive community engagement and education initiative of the Grant Park Music Festival to increase music education and lifelong learning opportunities for audiences of all ages and foster a diverse participation in music and the arts.
Night Out in the Parks
Free chamber and choral performances in cultural centers throughout Chicago, part of the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks.
A half-day music and arts immersion program serving over 2,000 children each summer with an introduction to classical music.
A partnership with the Chicago Sinfonietta to provide professional development opportunities for promising young minority musicians.
Young Artists Showcase
Weekly pre-concert performances by students of local music schools and summer music programs.
A free pre-concert lecture series that takes an in-depth look at the Festival's programs and performers.
Free daytime rehearsals of the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
