Harris Theater Seating Policy
Some Grant Park Music Festival concerts take place indoors at the Harris Theater. Here is a guide.
Seating for Festival Members
Festival members receive access to reserved seating areas close to the stage on the main floor (Orchestra Level) of the Harris Theater. Each membership level is assigned sections—look for colored dots on the ground to locate your designated seating area. To access your seats you can simply show your membership card. Festival ushers are available to assist you.
Free seating in the balconies is available on a first-come, first-seated basis. No tickets or passes are required. Use the upper level lobby of the Harris Theater to access free seating.
The lobby opens 90 minutes prior to concert-time and the theater opens 30 minutes prior to concert-time. Patrons may enter from either the upper level lobby (on Randolph Street) or lower level lobby (via the Millennium Park garage elevator).
One Night Passes
A limited number of One Night Passes, which provide guaranteed access to the main floor (Orchestra Level) are available. You may order these passes by calling 312.742.7647.
Patron Service Center
During Festival performances at the Harris Theater, the Patron Services is located on the Orchestra Level. Patron Services will open one hour before the concert begins.
