Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar

Family Night: Peter and the Wolf

Carlos Kalmar presents an enchanting orchestral menagerie featuring the family classic Peter and the Wolf, and more. With his most beloved piece, composer Sergei Prokofiev combines Russian folklore with a genius for musical storytelling to feature different instruments, and one gnarly wolf. Saint-Saens makes a veritable zoo with his whimsical Carnival of the Animals. And Poulenc leads the way with the little elephant Babar.
