Welcome back! We are thrilled to be gathering with you in Millennium Park and to be sharing these glorious concerts. Your membership helps make it all possible, and helps keep live music accessible to everyone in Chicago.
The Grant Park Music Festival's return to Millennium Park was facilitated by a team of experts operating with the best available science—public health experts, doctors; chemical, biochemical and acoustical engineers; members of our board, the mayor's office and our staff—to achieve a safe space for audience, musicians and staff, alike.
You'll notice many layers of protection developed with the understanding that no single layer can prevent the spread of COVID-19, but each layer can work effectively with others to prevent transmission. These include fresh air, mandatory use of face coverings, contactless customer service, vaccines, sanitization, reduced capacity and physical distancing. We ask for your cooperation in helping us to ensure your safety and the safety of everyone in the Festival family.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Please familiarize yourself with our Health & Safety protocols. All concertgoers must agree to abide by the protocols—including our mandatory mask policy—in order to gain entry to the Pavilion.
Barcodes - To minimize contact between staff and visitors, your passes will be emailed to you as a barcode, which you can either print at home or display using your smartphone. An usher will scan your code as you enter the Pavilion.
Programs - Program books will be all-digital and are available in three ways: alongside each concert listing, via the weekly eNews and via QR codes posted in the Park. To use a QR code, aim the camera of your smartphone at the code (don't snap the picture!). A link to the program book will appear on your screen. Touch the link to view the program.
For your safety and convenience, all pre-concert lectures will be virtual in 2021. Pre-concert lecture videos may be viewed on our YouTube channel.
