Description
Musical fairytales—from the Charles Perrault classic comes Tchaikovsky's enchanting ballet The Sleeping Beauty (and score to a Disney feature film). Carlos Kalmar conducts the ballet suite, plus Czech composer Josef Suk's Fairy Tale. The concert opens with an overture inspired by Shakespeare's own tantalizing fairytale A Midsummer Night's Dream.
