Welcome

The Grant Park Music Festival is a ten-week classical music concert series held annually in Chicago, Illinois’ Millennium Park.

It features the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, along with guest performers and conductors, and is one of the only free outdoor classical-music concert series in the US.

Classical Campers

Classical Campers

Classical Campers provides an appealing introduction to classical music through engaging storytelling and interactive workshops in and around Millennium Park's Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

The program typically welcomes some 2,500 youngsters to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion for up-close, artist-led learning, including a front-row seat during a working rehearsal of the Grant Park Orchestra. A half-day music immersion, the Classical Campers program brings day campers from across Chicago and takes place on weekdays during the Grant Park Music Festival season.

The Classical Campers program is presented in partnership with the Chicago Park District.
