The Grant Park Music Festival is a ten-week classical music concert series held annually in Chicago, Illinois’ Millennium Park.

It features the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, along with guest performers and conductors, and is one of the only free outdoor classical-music concert series in the US.

Elizabeth Maria Smith

Elizabeth Maria Smith

Soprano

Soprano Elizabeth Maria Smith is a versatile performer and collaborator. She is a Chicago native and recent graduate of the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, studying under Theresa Brancaccio, with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Opera. Elizabeth most recently performed in The Crucible with Chicago Summer Opera. Elizabeth has sung chamber works and performed in Northwestern Opera Theater’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Susannah, and Dialogues of the Carmelites. Elizabeth regularly performs with Chicago area churches and synagogues.

Elizabeth was a 2018 Vocal Fellow at the Grant Park Music Festival.
