The Grant Park Music Festival is a ten-week classical music concert series held annually in Chicago, Illinois’ Millennium Park.

It features the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, along with guest performers and conductors, and is one of the only free outdoor classical-music concert series in the US.

Thereza Lituma

Thereza Lituma

As a classical singer, Thereza Lituma has performed with the Grant Park Music Festival Chorus, Chicago Symphony Chorus, Music of the Baroque, New Earth Ensemble, Lyric Theatre @ Illinois, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, Ad Astra Music Festival, and Spoleto Festival USA. Her opera credits include Cherubino/Le Nozze di Figaro, Mrs. Grose/Turn of the Screw, Lucretia/The Rape of Lucretia, and Agent Dolores Reyes/The Last American Hammer. In 2023-24, she performed as the Alto Soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 alongside the University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Thereza is a proud alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Music, where she earned multiple degrees in Voice Performance.
