Access Contemporary Music (ACM) is a Chicago nonprofit dedicated to making contemporary classical music accessible to everyone, through storefront music schools, concerts, commissions, and festivals. This August 22–23, ACM presents the Thirsty Ears Festival, Chicago's only classical music street festival. ACM also recently opened The CheckOut, an intimate chamber music venue housed in a converted 7-Eleven in Lakeview. Learn more at acmusic.org.
