CenterStage brings artist and audience together onstage at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion for a free, intimate, Sunday-afternoon concert.

In 2023, join us for the world premiere of a new work by Xavier Foley featuring the composer with pianist Joyce Yang.

  • Doors open at 1 PM. The concert starts at 2 PM and last approximately one hour. While these concerts are free, reservations are recommended. Seating is general admission.
  • Late seating is permitted in the choral balcony only.
  • Enter the Jay Pritzker Pavilion from the upper walkway beside building. An usher will be on hand to direct you.

HISTORY

Inaugurated during the 2019 Festival, CenterStage has presented a range of artists, including violinist Augustin Hadelich, composer and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Kahane, the ZOFO piano duo, flutist Marina Piccinini with pianist Andreas Haefliger as well as members of the Grant Park Orchestra. The 2022 series included a world premiere string quartet by multi-Grammy-winning jazz artist Billy Childs performed by the string fellows from the Festival's young artist program.
