Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 4
Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 8

Description

Our celebration of the genius of Beethoven continues with piano powerhouse Andreas Haefliger who makes his Festival debut with one of the gems of classical music, Beethoven’s exquisite Piano Concerto No. 4. And from the latter side of the Romantic age comes the raucous, folk-inspired Symphony No. 8 by Dvořák. The Grant Park Music Festival welcomes rising star conductor Nicole Paiement.
