Edward Elgar: Violin Concerto
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Symphony No. 41, Jupiter
Description
Carlos Kalmar and the Grant Park Orchestra perform Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, a work so filled with radiance and majesty, they call it Jupiter after the king of the gods. Also on the program, Festival favorite Christian Tetzlaff returns to play the savagely difficult, lusciously Romantic Violin Concerto by Edward Elgar.
