The Grant Park Music Festival is a ten-week classical music concert series held annually in Chicago, Illinois’ Millennium Park.

It features the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, along with guest performers and conductors, and is one of the only free outdoor classical-music concert series in the US.

CYSO Tour of Spain Launch Concert on June 12

The Festival partners with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras to present the CYSO's celebratory Tour of Spain Launch Concert in Millennium Park. FREE!

Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, which inspires and cultivates personal excellence through music, kicks off summer with a celebratory Tour of Spain Launch Concert.The concert showcases CYSO’s award-winning Symphony Orchestra performing the complete repertoire for its upcoming concert tour of Spain, including Samuel Barber’s Music for a Scene from Shelley, Op. 7; Margaret Bonds’ The Montgomery Variations (1964); and Piotr Tchaikovsky’s  Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64. The evening also features a performance by the CYSO Steel Orchestra, performing in the South Promenade Tent.
