The Grant Park Music Festival is a ten-week classical music concert series held annually in Chicago, Illinois’ Millennium Park.

It features the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, along with guest performers and conductors, and is one of the only free outdoor classical-music concert series in the US.

Classical music has a dynamic new champion. Meet Giancarlo Guerrero, the new Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Grant Park Music Festival. This six-time Grammy Award-winning conductor is in big demand by orchestras nationwide, recognized for his creativity and virtuosity in leading musicians to new, unexpected heights. Yet, much of his reputation stems from his unmitigated enthusiasm for music – from 19th century classic war horses to contemporary classical composers to heavy metal and rock. Maestro Guerrero has a genius for channeling his passion for music into unforgettable live performances.
