Donor Spotlight: Sue and Jim Colletti

Chicagoans Sue and Jim Colletti are proud members of the Grant Park Music Festival’s Impresario Society and have been attending Festival concerts since 2008. “We love the total experience at the Festival—the music, the orchestra and chorus, and the beautiful setting,” says Sue.

“And Carlos has introduced us to fabulous works we’ve never heard before,” Jim adds. One of their favorite memories is of classical jazz pianist Michel Camilo, who in 2014 appeared with the Orchestra in the Festival premiere of his composition Tenerife.

Sue has served on the Festival’s Education and Community Outreach Committee for the past two years. She passionately believes in programs like Classical Campers that provide children with their first taste of classical music. She was also instrumental in bringing performances by the Project Inclusion string quartet to Noble Charter High School campuses last year.
