Welcome

The Grant Park Music Festival is a ten-week classical music concert series held annually in Chicago, Illinois’ Millennium Park.

It features the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, along with guest performers and conductors, and is one of the only free outdoor classical-music concert series in the US.

Donor Spotlight: Amy Lee Boonstra and Brian Boonstra

Amy Boonstra is a proud Gold Impresario Society member and longtime enthusiast of the Grant Park Music Festival and has been attending concerts since the 1980s. She is a member of the board of directors of the Grant Park Orchestral Association and serves as Chair of the Education and Community Engagement Committee.

Since joining the board in 2015, Amy has taken a very active role in helping the Festival reach beyond the stage and touch the lives of Chicagoans of all ages. Having taught piano for over twenty years, Amy has a deep understanding of the importance of exposing young people to the arts. She is especially proud of the Festival’s Classical Campers program, an enrichment class that introduces classical music to children ages 6-12 participating in Chicago Park District Day Camps from neighborhoods throughout the city.

In addition to the Festival, Amy and her husband Brian actively support the Chicago Children’s Choir (where their children participate) as well as the League of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association.
