Health & Safety

Current Capacity: Reduced

All visitors must agree to and abide by all safety rules—including mandatory face coverings—in order to gain admission to Festival events inside the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

FACE COVERINGS

Snug-fitting masks covering the nose and chin are required at all times. Seated patrons may lower their masks while eating and drinking.

SEATING BOWL

Reservations are needed for all seating and can be made online or by phone. All seats are free of charge. Please refrain from sitting in any seat other than the one assigned to you. Ushers will be on hand to assist.

POD SEATING

Seating on the Great Lawn has been modified to create socially distanced "pods," squares painted on the Lawn, for groups of 2 to 6 people (including children). Reservations are needed for seating on the lawn and can be made online or by phone. Once in the Pavilion, parties on the lawn are asked to remain within their assigned pod and to please refrain from lingering in the walkways between pods.

FACILITIES

Concessions and restrooms are available on the eastern and western sides of the park. We ask that you use the facilities closest to you and refrain from crossing the center aisle.

REDUCED CONTACT

All staff will wear masks and maintain social distancing from patrons. Seating passes will be contactless, issued in the form of a barcode to be printed at home or displayed on your smartphone. Ushers will scan your seating pass upon entry to the Pavilion. Program books for Festival concerts will be digital. Pre-concert lectures will be available on our YouTube channel.

INCREASED SANITATION

Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue for your use. Seats will be sanitized prior to events.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Please abide by all signs and directions to maintain social distancing.

Symptoms include: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
