What is Membership?

The Grant Park Music Festival’s membership program helps cover the costs of free choral and orchestral concerts in Chicago’s Millennium Park. Founded on the principle that everyone should have access to great music-making and to music education programs, Festival membership helps to finance a variety of musical encounters across the city.

Memberships are 100% tax deductible. Benefits include premium seating to world-class concerts, discounted on-site parking and the gratification of helping to sustain a series that has inspired, educated and provided a gathering place in our community for over 85 years. 

A product of the Great Depression, the Grant Park Orchestra began offering free concerts on Chicago’s lakefront during the 1930s. Every season since is a testament to this member-supported Festival’s founding principle that classical music, performed by exceptional solo, orchestral and choral musicians, can have a transformative impact on our city.
